Aux Champs Perdrix is a small Premier Cru-classified vineyard in the northern sector of the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation in the Côte de Nuits. The vineyard is high on the Côte d'Or slope, enjoying a view of many of the commune's other Premier Cru sites and overlooking the roofs of Nuits-Saint-Georges itself. Aux Champs Perdrix wines, based on Pinot Noir, are well-structured and elegant.
 
The vineyard is situated at the very top of where the Côte d'Or is suitable for viticulture – only a small strip of land separates the western edge of Aux Champs Perdrix with the woods that cover the ridge of the escarpment. The large Aux Chaignots Premier Cru climat stretches out on the slope below, while the Aux Thorey climat can be found along the southern boundary.
 
This rich wine has beautifully integrated tannins and ripe fruit. With a generous character and succulent fruit over a base of firm tannins, it has excellent potential. Its tannins need to soften more for the wine to be ready to drink, so wait until 2023
